Green Garden Travel Wallet
In a couple of hours I'll be boarding my plane to Chicago, and I wish I had this most genius of all travel accoutrement. Not only can it chicly hold your passport, it has pockets for other documents, for your boarding pass, ID, airline card, whatever. Personally, I'd stick my Moleskine in there, slide in my license and magazine cash, and improve this awesome design only slightly by adding a ribbon pen loop. Then I'd have every travel need in one place and leave the infuriating pockets of my carry-on alone.

I have a green leather duffel backpack that I really love, but you can't beat awesome vintage fabric and tan canvas. Because I'm tired of taking off my backpack to get something out, I like that this bag goes across the body for simple retrieval. It's also terribly sophisticated, with a cool orange label. These bags deserve a following and should be birthday gifts to all of your friends.

Strangely, sachets have been much on my mind lately. I never was a huge lavender person, but it has come to be sort of calming. Onset of stress, perhaps?
Either way, these are real treats and might inspire you to sew a few yourself.
Set of three: One for a drawer, one for the front hall table, and one for your coat pocket. Aside from it obviously smelling amazing, you can toss it around when you're stuck on a bus.

A sweater is a classic gift. It's easy to find in the right fit, fits in a wrappable box, and looks a whole lot better for real than in the low-quality photo, above.
Blue, brown, green, rust, and winter peat shetland.
It's what I'm getting myself for Chanuka, I think. Simple, freestanding, yummy color, and just enough hardware make this bag very pleasing indeed.

This car, a reader recommendation, blew me away. The description, filled with words like "agile handling" and "outright performance" got me kind of enthusiastic. The fluid lines and hot classic styling make this our luxury pick.

A Shady Lane Checkbook Cover
I find that suddenly I'm the kind of person who sees the word "sketchbook" and automatically assumes it says "checkbook". Have I left creativity behind in favor of financial planning and obsession over future student loans?
Make the two worlds meet with this checkbook cover, based on the insightful (and appropriate) quote: "The worlds collide, but all that we want is a shady lane."
